Beautiful location with an amazing beach just across the street, perfect for a bike tour. the food was decent and the sunset view from the property was absolutely stunning.
The cabin we stayed in needed repairs like a kitchen sink and shower door that wouldn't close properly. the beds were uncomfortable and the kitchen closed early, leaving us with limited food options nearby.

The recently renovated pub on the waterfront offers comfortable beds, friendly staff, and stunning sunset views. Conveniently located steps away from the ocean, it's great for a relaxing weekend getaway. The new chef's halibut is a must-try, and the cozy window lounging seats provide an amazing reading spot.

The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

The view from our room was breathtaking, with unobstructed vistas of the water and stunning sunsets. the log cabin feel of the main house and charming cottages added to the old-school charm of the place. the restaurant surprised us with its delicious food, offering a pleasant dining experience.
The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, which affected our sleep quality during our stay. We were also disappointed to discover that the rooms could use some updating and modernization.

Quirky property, great location. Comfy room with tight space and small bathroom. Immersive balcony with stunning view compensates for minor inconveniences. Friendly bar staff, enjoyable meals with waterfront view. Convenient nearby attractions. 👍

The ocean view from our room was incredible, especially in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good for pub fare.
The room was smaller than expected and the bathroom was particularly cramped. The shower stall was tiny and the shower head couldn't be adjusted, leading to an uncomfortable experience.

The room we were upgraded to had a stunning ocean view and we were greeted with a lovely surprise - a bunch of sunflowers and complimentary wine. We were treated to a picturesque sunset while enjoying a delicious gourmet pizza from the local restaurant. The peaceful ambiance, with only the sound of waves, made for a truly relaxing stay. The lodge's historical significance as a place where Malcolm Lowry wrote part of his novel added a unique touch to our experience.
Would recommend this hotel.
